Music is one of the most enriching and social extracurricular activities. However, once students get home from school, learning music becomes an independent experience. Remote and distanced music education became a common occurrence during the pandemic, and is a compelling example of how challenging learning music online and at home can be. Given the new format, many music educators found themselves without the proper time or resources to teach their students, resulting in a lack of confidence for the teacher, leading to a loss of motivation for students.

The goal: Design a music learning assistant for beginner to intermediate level music students that will motivate and support them in learning symphonic band or orchestra music.
